Precise dispensing with gantry robot

In this customer test, an igus room gantry performs a dispensing task. Small drops must be sprayed onto the surface in a certain pattern. With the help of a syringe dosing system attached to the gantry, the customer's requirements could be realized.

Gantry robots consist of several linear axes that enable multidimensional movements and can be used in diverse areas. Portals are also compatible with a wide variety of end effectors, camera systems and accessories. Programming is also easy with the free igus Robot Control.
